Summary

Part of The Calico Group, Gateway provides supported accommodation for individuals and couples who are homeless and have additional multiple and complex needs.


Description

 

15 hours (Saturday & Sunday 07:30-15:30 & 15:00-23:00 0n alternate shift pattern)   

 

Gateway is Calico’s flagship complex needs homelessness service, in Burnley, and opened in August 2018.

 

Calico has delivered homelessness services for over 10 years, and our Gateway supported accommodation service expands our current provision.

 

Providing 30 units of short-term supported accommodation, alongside a range of supporting services, Gateway will enable customers to gain skills and live independently.

 

The service is delivered from a specialist, new state of the art facility, providing exceptional standards of accommodation.

 

Can you help us expand our offer of homelessness services?

Due to the recent opening of this new service, exciting opportunities have arisen to join a specialist, passionate and well-established service in a variety of roles.

 

You’ll provide direct high quality housing and support, advice and practical help to high level complex needs customers to enable them to achieve well-being and independent living.

 

Passion, commitment, customer focus, partnership working, flexibility, resilience and motivation are key qualities needed to fulfil these roles, as well as excellent communication and organisational skills.
