Role & Requirements
Salary: Up to £38,000 per annum DOE
Hours: 39 hours per week (must be flexible)
Location: Barley View, Whitworth, Nr Rochdale, OL12 8BD
As Registered Manager you will manage Barley View, our new 28 bed state of the art, purpose-built, residential care home in the heart of Whitworth, near Rochdale, which provides exceptional standards of residential and dementia care. We expect the Registered Manager to lead delivery of this service with passion and enthusiasm, ensuring the service meets and exceeds CQC requirements whilst building a strong local and regional reputation in preparation for future growth. The Registered Manager will take ownership of the delivery of our brand new service, building relationships within the community and ensuring that our residents’ wellbeing is at the forefront of everything you do.
The Calico Group have ambitious plans to expand and develop their care and support service portfolio across the North West. This really is the start of an exciting journey which this role will to lead. So not only does this role offer a fabulous opportunity now, but also the opportunity to be part of something bigger and even more exciting as the Calico journey continues.

The ideal candidate would be a confident multi-tasker who is effective at planning and prioritising and can inspire and engage others to ensure that residents receive the highest standards of care and support possible. Change management skills are a must to help us lead and develop our staff and services to take us to the next level.
As the role involves responsibility for managing and ensuring the quality and safety of care, there is a requirement to provide flexible out of hours support to staff on a rotational basis. The salary incorporates an allowance for such cover.

- Experience as a Registered Manager
- NVQ Level 4 or equivalent
- Experience of dementia care
- Experience of commissioning a new service would be a benefit
