Role & Requirements
Salary: £33,6600 per annum + £4,500 car allowance
Hours: 41 hour per week. Mon – Thurs 8:00-17:00 and Friday 8:00 – 15:30.
Location: Various sites
You will be working on various refurbishment schemes ensuring programmes and quality are met whilst complying with all health and safety legislation. Ring Stones require a new Site Managers in a both Operational and Commercial capacity. You will be responsible for the adherence to the specification and programme of works including short term programming. You will be required to prepare progress reports, monitor programmes and sign off quality control documents. Ensuring drawings are current, read, controlled and relayed to the Site Team. Aware of cost and managing delegated budgets, working closely with the QS to optimise the profitability of projects. Co-ordinate all Team Members, set and update work objectives for teams and individuals. Plan activities and agree work methods to achieve objectives. Allocate work and evaluate teams, individuals and self against objectives, ensuring that no task is beyond the team member’s capabilities. Ensure that induction is rigorously carried out and records completed. Ensuring that all tradesmen have the appropriate material and equipment in order to be able to achieve their designated tasks.

- Typically 10 years of diverse building experience
- Understanding of construction methods and techniques
- QA – Assurance and regulation
- Competent IT skills
- Knowledge of Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental legislation and its application.
- Professional construction mgt qualification (NVQ3) or equivalent knowledge/experience.
- Appropriate CSCS Manager Card
- First Aid Certificate
- SMSTS Course – 5 Day (or equivalent)
- Scaffold Inspection Course
