Role & Requirements

Role:                Senior Support Worker (Evenings & Weekends)

Hours:              18 hours per week

Salary:             £23,850 per annum (pro rata)


We are looking for a high calibre, passionate, caring individual who is an excellent team player and is committed to working in partnership with customers and staff to shape and improve services. The ideal candidate will be required to provide senior support and advice to teams across all of our refuges by responding to any issues that arise. You will be a confident communicator with the ability to liaise and network effectively. The ideal candidate will be able to prioritise efficiently to ensure that our customers receive the highest standards of care and support possible.


As the role involves safeguarding, risk management and out of hour’s emergency cover, the ideal candidate will provide a supervisory presence that supports staff when responding to any incidents that may arise.

Required experience:

  • Experience of working in supported housing
  • Experience of coordinating and delivering support services to customers
  • Experience of delivering services to vulnerable people in the public or private sector
  • Experience of working with women and children to meet complex needs in 1:1 or group setting
